IT & High-Tech Law Committee
Founded in Nov. of 2001, the Committee now
has 34 members, among them, 1 Chair and 5
Vice Chairs.
Its aim is to satisfy the development of information
network and high-tech, improve national
lawyers professional qualification in this
area, provide service to national legal construction
in information law and legal support to
the industrialization of high-tech.
The duties are reinforcing theoretical
research, expand legal practice and promote
national and international exchange and cooperation
in the field of information net and
high-tech, submitting proposals to information
network and high-tech legislation and
judiciary, formulating practice guidelines for
Chinese lawyers to expand legal service in
information network and high-tech and acting
as bridge between lawyers and enterprises
of information network and high-tech.
Labor and Social Security Law
Committee
Founded on March 9, 2002, the committee
now has 42 members, among them, 1 Chair
and 3 Vice Chairs.
Its aim is to satisfy the reform and change of
the labour market after China's accession into
WTO, spread the concept of labor law,
strengthen the study on labour law theory and
practice, improve lawyers practicing quality,
widen practice areas, push for specialization,
unite lawyers who devote themselves in labor
law and social security practice in order
to provide full service to society.
Its duties are:
• to develop study on practice theory, organize
lawyers to exchange with
academic, governmental and judicial
organs.
• to organize lawyers to carry out research
and direct those lawyers in handling
labour law cases.
• to give suggestions to national
legislative, judicial and law enforcing
activities and other social matters from
professional perspective.
• to propose suggestions to lawyers associations
in making up practicing code
and professional standard.
• to coordinate lawyers professional
activities, set up social supporting network
for lawyers and support lawyers
lawful rights in practice.
• to collect, sort out ,circulate and consult
of information.
• to be authorized by lawyers associations
to develop exchange activities
with foreign labour organizations.
Target Group for Guiding Civil
Claim against War Crimes of Japan
Its aim is to further normalize and guide lawyers'
practice in civil claims against war
crimes of Japan and to encourage lawyers
playing active role in this area.
Its duties are:
• to develop
study on
theory and
practice in
this area and
exchange of
experiences.
• to coordinate
activities between Japanese lawyers
and Chinese counterparts in litigation
against war crimes of Japan for civil
cases, set up related social support network
and support lawyers' lawful rights
in practice.
• to study relevant cases and collect
information.
