citizens and legal persons' legitimate rights
when their rights are infringed by administrative
organs; to prevent the violation and
abuse of power by administrative authorities
and to promote the building up of Chinese

Intellectual Property Law Committee
Founded on Nov. 8, 1996, the committee now
has 29 members, among them, 1 Chair and 4
Vice Chairs.
Its aim is to satisfy the new and high standard
requirements by Chinese intellectual
property protection system towards a more
specialized and internationalized legal
profession, to train the group of lawyers who
are specialized in intellectual property law
and make full play of lawyers' role in the practice
of intellectual property law.
Its duties are:

organize the profession for exchanges
of experience, compile and publicize
collected works, draft professional
rules and provide professional
guidelines.
• to investigate and study the drafting and
implementation of intellectual property
law and policy, provide advisory opinion

Finance and Security Law Committee
Founded on Nov. 16, 1996, the committee
has 39 members, among them 1 chair and 5
vice chairs.
Its aim is to lead lawyers in finance and security
law practice, to develop theoretical research
and exchange experience in practice,
draft professional rules, forward proposals
towards legislation, judiciary and law
enforcement, safeguard legitimate rights of
lawyers and contribute to specialization and
normalization of finance and security law
practice.
